Portable or Permanent: Which Kind of Setup Will You Install?

Although you might want to practice your shots every day, it is not possible for everyone to install a permanent set up in their homes. More often than not, the space required for a permanent indoor golf setup is not available in our properties. In that case, you can opt for a portable setup that can be easily taken down once you are finished practicing. There are various practice nets, screens, and projectors that can be used this way. However, if you have a spare room, you can go for a permanent setup. The garage is often a popular choice among home golfers to install a permanent indoor golf facility. You can also use one of your living rooms and turn it into a dual golf simulator room and home theatre.

How Much Space Do You Need To Set Up The Golf Simulator?

If you are worried that you may not have enough space to install a golf simulator, you need not be concerned. You will be surprised to know how little room you need to build your indoor golf with a golf simulator. The only concern is height. Experts recommend that any space with a minimum of 9 feet clearance to swing is sufficient for golf simulators. Additionally, it is recommended that you find a space that is about 10 feet wide and 15 feet long in size. However, some compact golf simulator setups could be accommodated in a smaller space.
