The original sits along the shores of Puget Sound, offering a rugged landscape carved from an old quarry with roots dating back to the Steilacoom Indian Tribe. This 18-hole resort course plays to a par of 72 over 7,165 yards and carries a slope rating of 140. Links-style fairways and greens are both surfaced in resilient fescue grass, ensuring year-round playability. Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., this classic opened in 2007 and is playable year-round. Strategic bunkering and the ever-present sea breeze heighten the challenge across windswept dunes, native fescue roughs framing each hole to evoke the spirit of the British Isles.
