TGC 2019 features the El Cid Golf Club, brought to life by designer Phillip Weis. This digital course draws its inspiration from Le Provencal Golf and authentically captures the spirit of Mazatlán’s famed El Cid Golf & Country Club, located at Av. Camaron Sabalo s/n., Fracc. El Cid, Sinaloa. Established in 1972 and designed by Larry Hughes and Lee Treviño, the original facility boasts 27 holes, an 18-hole classic layout, and the Marina Course, a nine-hole addition by Treviño. The Castilla-Marina 18-hole combination offers a par of 72, with white tees measuring 6,283 yards, gold at 6,657 yards, and orange at 4,553 yards. Players navigate Bermuda grass fairways and greens, facing a slope of 126.
El Cid’s courses weave through lush, tropical vegetation, including palms and rubber trees, while sparkling lagoons add both challenge and beauty. Beyond golf, visitors enjoy a wealth of amenities: tennis, padel, pickleball, spa, fitness, swimming, and various dining options. El Cid offers year-round play, and the vibrant climate of Mazatlán ensures the scenery stays green and inviting, making every round memorable.
