GC Winsen Nordkurs is a course module introduced by the TGC 2019 simulation software. Designed by Walther Habemann, this course pays homage to the distinguished Green Eagle North Course located in Winsen, drawing inspiration from its well-crafted landscape and challenging layout. The original Green Eagle North Course, known for its sprawling 186-hectare area, features vast lakes, imposing bunkers, manicured fairways, and natural grandstands that offer a stunning view of the Lüneburger Heide—a picturesque region just 25 minutes from Hamburg.
Created in 2008 and re-envisioned by European Golf Design in 2017, the Green Eagle North Course spans 7057 yards and presents a par of 73, complemented by a challenging slope rating of 151. This makes it a demanding yet rewarding experience for golfers. Its facilities, including a clubhouse and locker rooms, ensure comfort and convenience for all visitors.
