TGC 2019 introduces Golfclub Lohne, a course module thoughtfully crafted by designer Walther Habemann. Inspired by GC Gut Brettberg Lohne in Germany, this 18-hole, par-72 course captures the spirit of the original location at Brettberger Weg 9, 49393 Lohne. Built in 1999 by architects Christoph Staedler and Dirk Decker, the real-life course stretches 6,065 meters with a slope rating of 130 and operates throughout the year as a semi-private club.
Golfclub Lohne immerses players in a rich natural setting. A softly undulating landscape flows across the course, with fairways interspersed by ancient oak and beech trees. The design cleverly incorporates ponds and ditches, blending strategic golf with serene beauty. Wide open vistas contrast with intimate tree-lined paths, creating variety and visual balance. From the 13th tee, players enjoy a remarkable view that includes an island green and sightlines across seven holes.
