Launched by TGC 2019 simulation software, Kauri Cliffs @ Matauri is a beautiful golf course that was built in 2004 and enjoys golf season all year round. Built by David Harman, Rees Jones, and Steve Weisser, the course offers several practice areas for players to enjoy. From the driving range to the caddies to the pitching/chipping area, the course has everything you need.
In addition to this, Kuri Cliffs also has a clubhouse and locker rooms that enable members to make the most of their stay on the course. It is spread across a yardage length of 6528 meters, comprises 144 slopes, and has achieved a par value of 72. The picturesque inland holes wind through farmland, marsh, and forest. Complete redesigning resulted in the 5th hole being changed from a lengthy, uphill forced carry par-3 to a brief “drop shot” par-3. In addition, the 2nd and 9th holes now have trees, and the 4th hole’s bunker underwent repairs.
