TRA Ballyowen GC LiDAR was designed by C.A. Carpenter and is a popular course in TGC 2019 golf simulation software. Located in Hamburg, New Jersey, the club is a tribute to the Scottish links courses. It comprises 18 holes with a par of 72 and 134 slopes. It is situated across a sprawling area of 250 acres of rolling farmland, overlooking the Walkill River. Built in 1998, the club experiences an all-year-round golf season.
Measuring around 7094 yards, the design follows the land’s natural contours as closely as possible as it winds through hills and valleys. The largely treeless landscape is accentuated with rocky knolls, much like a conventional links golf course. It also comprises several amenities such as clubs, rental services such as carts, a teaching professional, etc. that add to the convenience of the players. Ballyowen has established itself as the best public course in New Jersey, and Golfweek has even put it among the top 50 in the nation.
