The TGC 2019 simulation software introduces Tralee-Ireland, a strikingly detailed course recreation by jayjohnson7. This digital design pays tribute to Tralee Golf Club, a public links course in Ardfert, Tralee, County Kerry, Ireland. Originally crafted in 1984 by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, with later contributions by Donald Steel and Tom MacKenzie in 2003, the course stretches 6,991 yards with a par of 72 across 18 captivating holes.
Players can explore a layout that blends beauty and difficulty. Towering dunes, sweeping fairways, and rough terrain shape a rugged journey. Cliff-top tees and greens provide unmatched views of the Atlantic Ocean, white beaches, and natural contours. Historic features dot the course, including a 12th-century stone tower behind the 3rd green and coastal waters near the 16th, once known as the “graveyard of the Spanish Armada.”
Open year-round with a high season from May to October, the club also offers a bar, restaurant, and clubhouse. With its cinematic scenery and challenging back nine, Tralee-Ireland brings Ireland’s iconic coastal golf experience vividly to life.
