Rio de Janeiro Olympics

The Rio de Janeiro Olympics course is an Olympic golf course that was built for the return of golf to the Olympic Games. It was specifically designed for golf competitions and was crafted by Gil Hanse and Kyle Franz. Built in 2016, the course comprises carts, pull-carts, and clubs that can be rented for playing purposes. The presence of a driving range, a bunker, caddies, a putting green, and a pitching and chipping area simplifies the playing capabilities of all golfers.

It was launched by TGC 2019 simulation software and measures 6549 meters, comprises 144 slopes, and has a par value of 71. The 18-hole course embraced the unique terrain of the area, which features native vegetation and offers breathtaking views of the surrounding landscapes. Rio de Janeiro Olympics course was not built simply to be a platform for golf talent but also as an embodiment of the focus of the Olympics on sustainability. In addition to this, it also has banquet facilities and locker rooms for the members to utilize.
