The TGC 2019 simulation software features the Brae Burn Country Club.4, created by friendBOMBER. This digital course mirrors the historic Brae Burn Country Club, nestled at 326 Fuller Street in West Newton, Massachusetts. Built in 1897, this private 18-hole course stretches 6,618 yards with a par of 72 and a challenging slope of 135. Legendary architects including Alex Findlay, Donald Ross, and modern designers Ron Forse and Jim Nagle have shaped its layout over the decades.

The course remains open from mid-April to early December, welcoming players to bent grass greens that hold true even under tough New England conditions. Elevated terrain, rolling hills, and natural contours define each hole. Mature trees line the fairways, creating both visual beauty and strategic demands. Streams and small water features enhance the landscape, while the course layout feels organically woven into the land, a hallmark of Ross’s design philosophy.

Beyond golf, members enjoy a clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, and a swimming pool. Despite its proximity to Boston, Brae Burn offers peaceful seclusion wrapped in natural New England charm.
