VTrack Overhead Launch Monitor

US$ 5,000.00

The VTrack Overhead Launch Monitor brings high-speed photometric tracking to an indoor golf simulator in a ceiling-mounted design. Laon Swingcraft builds the system in South Korea. It combines photometric and infrared technology to track both ball and club data. Two high-speed cameras operate at 1,800 frames per second to capture each shot. The system works without marked golf balls, club stickers, or clubface dots. It also removes the need for calibration loops before play. Golfers can place a standard ball in the hitting zone, select a club, and swing while VTrack records the shot. Laon Swingcraft has more than 20,000 units deployed in Korea.

VTrack tracks 25 measured data points across ball flight and club delivery. It records 16 ball metrics: ball speed, backspin, sidespin, total spin, spin axis, rifle rotation, launch direction, launch angle, apex height, side total, sidespin angle, total distance, carry distance, flight time, run, and landing angle. It also captures nine club metrics: club speed, club path, face angle, face-to-path, attack angle, dynamic loft, smash factor, horizontal impact point, and vertical impact point. This combination gives players detailed information about the strike and the resulting ball flight.

The data set covers much more than a final carry number. Ball measurements show speed, spin behavior, launch direction and angle, peak height, distance, flight time, run, and landing angle. Club measurements add information about speed, path, face position, attack angle, dynamic loft, impact efficiency, and impact location. Players can use these measurements to separate club delivery from ball-flight results. This makes it easier to review why a shot launched or moved in a particular way instead of relying only on the final distance.

The dual-camera system provides instant feedback with no shot delay. This helps players maintain a smooth rhythm during practice. They do not need to stop between swings to attach tracking markers or prepare specially marked golf balls. Markerless tracking also makes club changes simple. A golfer can move through different clubs while keeping the same basic shot routine. The system captures the required data without adding extra preparation before each swing.

A 31-inch-wide by 24-inch-deep hitting zone gives VTrack a generous capture area. It is the largest hitting zone in its price tier. The extra space reduces the need to position the ball in one exact spot before every swing. It also makes setup easier when left-handed and right-handed golfers share the simulator. The larger area provides more flexibility for chips, pitches, and wedge shots where ball position can change between swings. Players can adjust their setup while staying inside the tracking area.

VTrack mounts overhead and in front of the ball. This placement creates a consistent tracking position once the system is installed and calibrated. The launch monitor measures 43 inches long, 11 inches wide, and 11 inches high. It weighs 24.6 pounds. Mounting hardware and a calibration board come with the system. The overhead configuration suits an indoor simulator room, so users should consider the available ceiling space and hitting area before choosing an installation point.

The launch monitor requires at least 8 feet 10 inches of ceiling height. A 10-foot ceiling is ideal. VTrack is designed for indoor use only. Its photometric and infrared capture technology requires controlled lighting to maintain its 1,800 FPS tracking rate. These requirements make room planning an important part of installation. Golfers should confirm the available ceiling clearance and make sure the room provides enough space for a comfortable swing.

VTrack includes VTrack Range Software with a perpetual license. The included software does not require an annual VTrack subscription. Golfers can use it for range mode and skills practice without purchasing another simulator platform. This provides a ready practice environment for working on ball flight and club delivery. It also removes recurring VTrack software charges for the included range and skills-practice functions.

The system also works with GSPro and E6 Connect. VTrack does not charge an additional integration fee to connect with either platform. GSPro and E6 Connect licenses are not included and must be purchased separately. Each third-party platform carries its own subscription. Users can therefore practice with the included VTrack Range Software or connect VTrack to one of the supported simulator platforms when they want a different software experience.

A Windows PC is required to run VTrack Range, GSPro, or E6 Connect. The minimum operating system is Windows 10 or higher. The PC needs a dual-core processor running at 3.0 GHz or faster, at least 16 GB of RAM, and at least 100 GB of free disk space. VTrack uses a wired Ethernet connection. An Intel PRO/1000-class network interface card is recommended. Checking these requirements before installation helps ensure the PC and launch monitor can work together as intended.

The box includes the VTrack Overhead Launch Monitor, power adapter, Ethernet cable, calibration board, mounting hardware, VTrack Range Software, and a user manual. These components cover the main hardware supplied for mounting, connecting, calibrating, and operating VTrack. Users still need a compatible Windows PC. A separate GSPro or E6 Connect license is necessary only when the golfer chooses to use one of those third-party simulator platforms.

The included setup components also simplify planning for installation. The mounting hardware supports the overhead placement, while the calibration board assists with the setup process after installation. The Ethernet cable provides the required wired connection, and the power adapter supplies power to the launch monitor. Planning the unit position and PC location together can make the wired setup more practical and keep the required connections within reach.

VTrack carries a one-year limited manufacturer warranty. Its specifications make it well suited to a dedicated indoor simulator space with sufficient ceiling clearance and a compatible Windows PC. The overhead placement, wired connection, markerless operation, and high-speed cameras create a consistent indoor tracking setup. Golfers who mainly practice or play in a simulator can keep the launch monitor positioned above the hitting area instead of setting up tracking markers before individual shots.

The VTrack Overhead Launch Monitor combines detailed measurement with a straightforward shot workflow. Its high-speed cameras capture ball and club information without stickers or marked golf balls. The large hitting zone gives players more freedom to adjust ball position, while instant feedback keeps practice moving between swings. VTrack Range Software provides range and skills-practice functions without an annual VTrack subscription. GSPro and E6 Connect compatibility adds more simulator software options when required.

For an indoor simulator space that meets the ceiling and PC requirements, VTrack provides a focused combination of markerless tracking, detailed shot data, and flexible software support. Its 16 ball measurements and nine club measurements cover important parts of ball flight and club delivery. The ceiling-mounted design maintains a consistent tracking position, while the included software and setup components provide the core tools needed to integrate VTrack into a compatible indoor golf simulator.
