TGC 2019 introduces Thunder Canyon Ranch, a striking virtual rendering by Dwight Hall that channels the rugged elegance of Toiyabe Golf Club in Washoe Valley, Nevada.

Thunder Canyon Ranch is a semi-private course that spans 18 holes over a traditional links‑and‑Alpine hybrid layout. It plays to a par‑72 and stretches roughly 7,166 yards from the back tees. The slope sits at 138, offering a solid challenge across seven tee sets.

Robert Muir Graves originally designed the real Toiyabe layout in 1994. He fashioned gently contoured fairways and fast, medium‑to‑large greens beneath towering pines. The course weaves through shimmering lakes and streams, with water coming into play on 14 holes. Golfers enjoy nearly 50 bunkers and plenty of elevation changes .

Toiyabe Golf Club is open year‑round, with high season from mid‑April to mid‑October. It features bent and Bermuda grass fairways and greens. Practice options include a full driving range, chipping green, and bunker facility, plus a teaching pro on site. Amenities extend to a clubhouse, restaurant, bar, pro‑shop, cart rentals, and banquet/event spaces.
